I have a 46 gallon bow front tank. Its 36" long. I currently have fish only but I'd like to get into some easy coral. I wanted to spend $200 or less on a light system if I could. I currently have a t5 setup that's an ebay special and timer doesnt work, bulbs are not great. Just want to get something else.

I looked at the Current UsA but after reading in here, not going to be a good idea for coral life. So I saw people are using viparspect and the bloomspect. I'm just not sure what one or how many if I need more than one. for my size tank.

Thanks!

I'd say get one viparspectra 165w and hang it high. If your not happy with the coverage you can always pick up one more. Most likely you will want the second one

Or if you can find the 300w version that might be a good choice (but I'm not sure how long it is exactly)
