Resolution was easily had with a little research.

We kill aiptasia anemones all day but killing a bubble tip is a sin??? Lol. Seriously though, don't kill it, it'll foul your water. Cut the leather

So that is the new normal good to know.

Hope you were able to get this little critter to move or were able to remove him yourself without harming him. I’ve been in your shoes and it’s super aggravating!

Well looks like my title worked and I got lots of responses! Everyone can relax. The leather has been fragged, which I was not happy about, and the anemone will be delivered to my lfs today for some credit.
