Need to kill mushroom colony by innovative methods!

I have tried killing this notorious fast growing mushroom colony with the kalk.... It is resilient so keeps coming back but it's sitting on a rock that is the size of a small fist .

I can cover the rock with something like a small shower cap and let it sit there for a month maybe that'll kill it?

What other options do I have?!
Please advise

Is it limited to just one small rock? If so, I'd rehome the rock and shrooms as one, or nuke the rock/shrooms with bleach (in a bucket outside of the tank, of course).

I would cut up as much as you can off the rocks with a bone cutter, and scrape off the guts and remaining tissue so they don’t grow back. Then every week just trim off the babies.

You can also sell the mushrooms you cut up this way

Wonder if they mean the lepto colony, thats the only coral i can see in that pic

You can kinda make out teal/blue rhodactis just to the left of center, I think

Yeah the only problem with that is , mushroom is in a kind of a slope , the kalk keeps dropping... but I'll try that...

I was just wondering if I can custom fit it with some plastic DIY shape that will fit like a glove into that protruding rock .. Thus blocking lights

Yeah the only problem with that is , mushroom is in a kind of a slope , the kalk keeps dropping... but I'll try that...

Put it in a needle n stab it with lemon juice maybe? But just make the kalk super pasty n try to stick it on there

I had some mushrooms spreading over a blood orange Lepto that I really liked. I fed the mushrooms a chunk of food so they completely "ballooned" around the food and closed up, then the popped right off the rock with a just a little pressure from a long handled algae scraper. They popped off easy and whole, haven't seen any come back in those spots yet either.

Try peroxide on a toothbrush.
