What is the max amount I can change out system water with RODI water to safely lower my salinity from 1.027 to 1.025. My system is 850 total gallons. Randy had answered this for me about 6 months ago, but I can't seem to locate his answer. Thanks for your help in advance. :)

You'll need to replace about 8% of the water volume with RO/DI. Replacing 2% daily (1% am and 1% pm) seems like a reasonable plan.

That is a detailed reply....is there a calculator for this or can you please provide the formula for arriving at this answer? Thanks!

Randy I have the Kore 5th Doser which has an AWC system and program built in it. It's programmed to do 24 cycles a day (once per hour )
so I set it up to do a 1% (a little conservative) per day RODI auto change. Here are the settings in liters.

25/27 = 0.9259

So you need to keep 92.59% of the existing salt water, and remove the remainder and replace it with fresh. :)
