Needing fish tank lights

Hello everyone, I am new to the world of owning a saltwater tank. I’ve been looking for new fish tank lights. I am not sure what is good or not but I do not want to be paying a arm or a leg for. Thank you in advance #reefsquad

I have a 30 gallon tank. I only own a few fish and inverts. I do not have any corals or anemones because the light I have now isn’t that great

Welcome to Reef2Reef you’ll find a ton of great advice. It all depends on the size of your tank and if you’re going to be doing corals and what kind of corals. There’s a lot lights out there that are very reasonable and will grow anything. I actually have a couple different lights for sale if you’re interested. Good luck

If you're looking for a cut and dry answer this light is a little small but I think it'll allow you to get off your feet. It can grow Softies and LPS like it's nobodies business and legend has it it can even grow sps. Remember that coral growth/keeping is like 25% light. Flow, parameters, and maintenance our huge factors as well!
