What is this white stuff growing in my tank? Is it good or bad?

I am not sure what it is. It does look pretty cool, though. Following to learn more.

I'm worried as it's spreading between coral

Usually sponges are very healthy for a tank. But there are some aggressive species that can smother corals. If they are doing more harm, manually removal would be advised.

Thank you for your recommendation

I've gotten this before in my previous tank. It grew for a few months then it died off when my water got out of wack. Whatever it is it likes your water quality.
