I have had a RBTA since I converted the tank over to SPS. Tank is really starting to take off and it has always stayed put since I put in the tank 2 years ago. With the hurricane and power outage, not sure what happened but it split yesterday and today half is splitting again so there will be 3 in there. I really dont want 1 let alone 3, my mistake for not taking it out when i converted the tank. anyone have any exp. in getting an already footed nem out? I cant take the rock out since it is a base rock and I cant break the tank down since some of the SPS is not spreading some over more than one rock and I really dont want to upset the tank since everything is doing fine. I have also been told that If I kill a nem in the tank It could nuke my tank? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try to get to its foot and put ice cubes in a Ziploc bag and rub its foot with the ice cube to make it come off. You can also try pointing a power head on it.

They are easier to remove when they are moving. Pointing power head at it to get it moving works for me. Have Patience.

BTW... Joe's juice works good too. Wait a few minutes and remove.
