Hey everyone. What does this alarm mean?

baefcda49929ee4dac6962a4a3c063aa.jpg

Then I get this alarm a few minutes later?

What gives? Is the ATK not setup right?

Thanks

Running dry for too long

How can it be running dry? You mean the pump for RO water? That’s fully submerged in RO water as we speak? I saw it running and dripping water into the return section of the sump where the ATK is.

I get that error when my pump runs dry and it takes long to cover the sensor, you said dripping? It should be a lil jet of water

That’s weird. Maybe it took too long to cover the sensor?

But my pump is full submerged in 9 gallons of RO water. Maybe it ran too long?

It’s a small drip that was coming out. Line is secure.

Sounds like something is either not fitted correctly or pump is bad, try taking everything apart and connect it back up if it’s weak sounds more like the lines are not fitted well, this has also happened to me after running it dry I have to stop and start it a few times before the pump starts moving water again

I took it all apart and still just a small trickle. No strong jet. It’s working cause the RO tank is draining and my water level in the sump is somewhat constant, but don’t want to mess this up at all. Not sure what the problem is here.

Pump is not working right. It took to long to cover the sensor so it sends an error.

General errors like that are the reason I have every error on a virtual outlet so I know exactly what and why the error was sent.

Why wouldn’t it be working right? Is the pump defective or the sensor apparatus?

Thanks

It depends.

Only real way to tell is to let it do it's thing and see if the pump is pumping water. If there is a nice jet of water coming out, and not just a trickle, the pump is fine, and it may have been a one time issue(something in the pump perhaps stopping it from pumping as hard as it can). If the pump is pumping fine, and you get the error, then the sensor is bad.

So the pump worked when I got it, but now when I try to just over ride it and turn the pump on it doesn’t work? I turn the pump ON in fusion and it does not turn on?

Any advice?

Thanks

Where is the power supply to the FMM plugged into? Not the aquabus cable.

The Error_ATK alert is for anytime the pump has run too long.

Things to check:
-Float Valve is not limiting flow from the PMUP into the tank (had this happen on a friend's tank, the float valve actually has adjustable positions, if it is set too low it will close and not allow the water to pump into the tank)
-Increase run time for ATK (if it is taking to long to cover sensor do this by increasing the When On > time )
-Decrease time in between ATK turning on (do this my decreasing the Min Time line)

How do you adjust float valve. Shouldn’t it be touching the water. That’s the last safety mechanism right? If it goes too high the float valve turns the pump off?
