I love my new Neptune Apex! My cord mess not so much. How do you organize yours…can I see photos? Did anyone make a DIY board? I wanted easy access so I mounted it next to my aquarium instead of under but it’s cord chaos.

Same here, simple board with a piano hinge to swing board open an access the wiring All wiring is tucked behind the board in an organized mess. Added an led to light up the area.

I have a number of things that run off of the Apex that doesn’t require me to use the EB832 so instead of using an Apex outlet I use this. I also use this for other equipment that just needs to be plugged in somewhere that has nothing to do with the Apex.

How far away is your sump? What extension cords did you use for probes and electrical leak sensors etc?
Sump actually sits about 6 feet to the left of the board in an unfinished portion of my basement. It is close enough for all probes and leak sensors to reach. I run a second EB8 which sits above my sump and gives me additonal outlets for things that won't reach the board (UV, heater, skimmer, etc.) Check out my build thread below and you will see some pictures of the whole setup...the pic with the red lights shows the location of everything.

But in Sorry having trouble finding the thread but would love to check it out. I’m missing something obvious
I bought an Adaptive Reef deluxe board that worked out really well in my 350 G2

That looks good. Is it difficult to slide in and out? I’m keeping mine on the wall. I may just use a regular old cabinet from Home Depot. But yours looks great

Naw it’s pretty easy, but I don’t slide it out that often either. I’ll just reach in and press any buttons I need to

How long has your EB832 been installed like that? Does the cooling fan on the right side of it blow air in or out?
Out. Honestly I didn’t even know that was there… probably move the ballast down below. Good catch!
