Neptune Apex Wi-Fi connection issue

I recently picked up a bunch of equipment from a fellow reefer getting out of the hobby. One of the iteams is an older Apex I assume. When I try to set it up to Wi-Fi I get this message. I’ve also tried to use a cable from router with no luck. Any suggestion would be helpful. The light is blue on apex which should be in Wi-Fi mode.

Is your router 2.4ghz? I'm not a tech guy but I do know most of our gear runs on 2.4 and many people have 5ghz or dual band that needs to be switched to 2.4. Just throwing it out there
