Hi all

Looking to grab a few more Neptune leak sensors for my tank while they are on sale before I do curious if there is general preference among the community among the two option LD2 or LD3 optical. I current have 1 of each so I’m mixed at the moment. The optical version is definitely a lot nicer in look and is fully encased but I feel as though it take a tad bit longer in identifying leaks as oppose to the ld2 which seams to be triggered even if a drop of water comes in contact with the exposed metal strips. The ld2s do seem to form corrosion on them after time if they get wet which as me a bit weary of there longevity.

Thanks

The optical versions will last much longer than the old style. They both read water immediately for me though. Make sure you changing the settings in Apex depending on which style you are using.
