Has anyone looked into alternate suppliers for the reagents?

I'm sure if someone would do a chemical analysis or inquire on Alibaba, I bet people could distribute a genetic version of the reagents at a much more reasonable price.

Comments anyone?

Probably true, though at $17 a month currently how much will one actually save?

no dog in the fight, don't even have an Apex but.... Seems a generic option would increase availability as it seems that is a constant issue for you trident folks.

There hasn’t been any issues with reagent availability lately. Once they were back after shutdowns and supply picked up I haven’t had issues finding them.

Even during the shutdown they were available enough. Buy 6 month. When you crack the last box buy another set or set the availability notifier on the sites. I think I had to buy a 2 month set 1 time.
