For the herbie do i put anything over the pipes to prevent stuff from getting in? also i noticed in the picture the valve what is the purpose of it?

The valve is to adjust the water so it goes full syphon I have nothing covering my pipes

It will be a different looking setup but the idea is the same

i wouldn't worry to much about it if the sump is going to be directly below

well got my Bulk reef supply order .... but i ordered the wrong size bulkhead! smh. The person i had bought it from stated they were 3/4" and 1" holes ......wrong! the 1" wholes were actually 3/4" holes! now i got to hope that the smaller ones are 1/2" . Can i still plumb 3/4" to the vectra!?

Ya i just read that well just put in another order *** the wifes going to kill me i went all out ordered blue, orange pvc, bulkheads adapter valves

Are you sure the other one is 1/2 and any decent place you ordered from should understand and take the return

Having a huge issue with this steel stand! 1 of the legs is not level withthe rest and its stting a bit lower then the frame. I am a little confused how it happened

well been busy working on a little project. I started crafting a overflow cover got the foam on . Just need to do the other side and lay on epoxy and sand

did a little rescaping today. Have a minor leak in my plumbing just above a 1/2" union . Most likely will silicone it. Any comments?
