Well that sounds interesting! How would you go about doing that?
Put your rocks in a brute can with some premixed saltwater and a powerhead and add some bacteria and ammonia. Dame way you would in your tank

Shouldn't change anything. You can use the brute can to cycle the rock the same way you would be doing in your tank. Just gives you a head start.
