Been out of the hobby for awhile but getting back into it finally. Plan on doing a mixed reef. Tank has been up for about a week so have a long time to go.

Tank - Fusion Pro 40 AIO
Custom Stand
Light - Hydra 52
38lbs base rock
40lbs live sand

-NuvoSkim DC AIO Protein Skimmer (Midsize)
-MiniMax Pro AIO Media reactor (Midsize)
-Two Spinstream Flow Nozzles
- Aquaillumination Nero 3 powerhead.
-Bulk Reef Supply 200W Titanium Heater W/ Ink Bird WIFI Controller

Nice! I wouldn't plug in the mini reactor. Perhaps just leave that offline until you need it--and you may never need it. Lot's of headaches if you run it if your tank doesn't need it.

Thank you! I was actually thinking instead of the reactor doing a refugium.

That's exactly what I would do! Keep in mind, you'll have to have your tank up and running for a few months before a refugium will thrive, but yes, absolutely.

Just gott married and been away on the honeymoon! While gone tank was cycling just over a month and water was good when I got back. Added a pair of Black Snowflake Clowns for my first fish!! Also added some blue legs and a Halloween Hermit as well.
