I just turned up the lights to full ab+ schedule.
I like this look much better.
Almost halide like, lol.
Was at first 4 100%
Last 4 50%
60% scheduled
Now 100% across the board.
Dont think I will need to lower schedule but always have the option depending on how the corals respond.
Also noted when cleaning diffuser that 1 15 has a few leds out and the whole unit is not as bright as the others.

Had to delete the one 15 and reload it.
Also reset unit. All leds work now and it looks just like the others.
I am using the lunar cycle now too.
It will be interesting to see growth and color at full ab+ schedule.
Tanks definitly brighter but hard to capture the exact look on my phone.

Hoping to get in on 1 of the Battlecoral growouts.
It will go in this system.
I am getting excellent growth and color now and the full ab+ template should enhance that even more.
This is 8 months growth under radions. First pic is in my 120 under halides the month I took it down in Jan 2022. 2 months in my 45 now 10 months in the 80. I browned out the corals by starting with the full ab+. Next 2 months were getting to the look I like. Now running full ab+.
If I can get this type of growth on the Battlecorals frag I may have a chance to be in the top 3. Thats my plan anyway, lol.
Second pic the stag is direct center. Not bad for leds, lol.

Nice pic of my WD on a 3" disk. This was in my 120 and started as a pencil eraser nub.
Went back and looked. I got the nub when the 120 was around 4 months old in October 2019. Its almost 31/2 years old.

Filled Tunze carx on 12/1.
This is 3 months of useage.
I may setup my skimz modified carx again on the 80 but we will see as its 6" dia and holds more bones.

Liking the xr15's on this system.

I need to trim the large stag as its growth is out of control.

I also need to get some of these to the lfs to make room for my battle box I received. I will be looking for high end corals now to replace many of the standard ones I have in the 80.

I will be able to put corals into the 20g reboot soon.

Alk is very stable at 6.5-7.5, with a target of 7.

Love the Kamoer pump. Need to get a backup as its the only piece I dont have a backup for.

I will be transfering some of the 8 frags I got from Adam to this system.

Already put strawberry fields and raindrops on roses in this morning. In a week I need to remount them on a larger frag plug.

The rainbow armys and space lazer will be transfered in a week or so also.

I now have the Rainbow Armys and Space Laser frag in the 80g.
I mounted them on 2" discs.

I picked up my first high end coral from a friends system.

TSA Rainbow Fusion for $200. This is a nice start as I plan more high end ones soon.

My friend has a 300 and has to move this summer so im getting some nice frags to grow out.
This way he has access to some nice frags at a decent price if I can keep them alive, lol.

Just swapped out my Tunze 3171 carx. It went though 1/2 of the bones in less than 3 months.
It only holds 1.5 liters.

I replaced it with the Skimz media reactor I modified. Its a 6" dia reactor and holds 4.5 liters of bones.
I ran this on the 120.
Tanks been stable at 7dkh with the 3171.

Today I removed all the racks and scrubbed off all the bubble algae I could find, alot! It likes to grow on the bottom side of the racks.
Its been a year and I like the racks in this system so far.
Still alot of red turf but I scrape it when I can.
I am running AlgaeFix in the 45 to see if I can eliminate or at least reduce it.
The turf does no harm but makes the tank look dark, imo. It is slowly going away as its been 1 month at 1ml per 10g's.

I removed a large wild acro to the 45. I fragged the top off and the bottom is back in the 80 untill I can get it to the lfs for credit.
Its a sea foam green with whitish branches. I need room for others.
Third pic is 3 months ago so you can see the growth.
Other pics you can see the color difference with the 16hds bs Radions.
The base is back in the 80 and I glued 1 frag in the 20g.

Nice pic of my jacko. Slow grower for me but worth the wait.
This coral looks incredable when its large.

I’ve found it hates light and does much better in the lowest light spot in my sps tank.

Yes your right about lower light levels. Mine is under a powerhead for the same reason. Way better growth and color.
In my halide 120 it was on the bottom and did well.
Radions are strong in a tank thats only 12.5" from the surface to the rack.

Whats your po4 level?
What is your desired range?
When needed I use phosgaurd in a nylon bag to bring it back into range. Gfo works but its too messy for my liking.

Yes pellets can quickly raise po4.
I use them twice a week to feed shrimp, snails, crabs over 4 tanks. Fish will eat some but they prefer frozen.
If you auto feed pellets when away just cut the feeding in half. The fish will be fine.
Anyway a po4 reducer can also help keep levels below .1.
