New to R2R and freshly back into the saltwater hobby after 20 or so years.

Currently have three tanks going. Long story, that. Decided to get a nano tank for my office. Got talked into a bigger tank for the main part of the house (didn't take a lot of convincing), then started reading about all this quarantine business. Now, I have three.

The last time I did this the Internet wasn't really a thing yet and the jury is out on whether or not it's a good thing. Information overload! So many conflicting opinions! Ahhhhhh! Every decision I make results in a major panic.

Tank 1 Biocube 16
Two mocha gladiator clownfish, 6 dwarf blue leg crabs, 3 trochus snails, 1 toadstool leather coral.

Tank 2 Biocube 16 - Quarantine
1 trochus snail, 1 red banded snapping shrimp, 2 orange stripe prawn goby (these will transfer out when the other tank is ready). I ended up putting in substrate and a rock to accommodate the gobies. Wondering if that messes up the whole point of quarantine.

Tank 3 Red Sea Max E260 69/56 gallon
Just beginning to cycle. Of course, then I read the poll on covering the tank and am freaking out about fish jumping out. So, maybe I'll have to get a cover before adding anything in...

Anyway, that's my story. Glad to be here! Let the obsession begin!

Hi ShariC ! we have several things in common. like the internet wasn't a big thing then, info overload & knee jerk actions. How ever R2R is a great place for specific questions.
So Welcome as for obsession? There are plenty of us here with that

Glad you joined us! I too, took a long hiatus from the reef life. Everything was different twenty years ago -- yet still the same. You are going to love it here. We have many veterans ready to help you. Welcome!
