Hey guys i went out today and got a Canon Rebel T7i, it came with a 18-55m lens. I also grabbed a multi coated UV lens and a 32G memory card. Now this is my first EVER camera, i am a complete NOOOOOOB!!!!! I do plan on getting the Canon 100m macro lens here in a few weeks, with that being said any help on how to set this cam up would be awesome!!! I am soooooo excited about this, i have always been jelly of macro photos so i just jumped the gun!

Curious as I was considering the canon t7i or possible a Nikon. What made you go with the canon

Great camera, get a tripod next, then a 100mm macro lens. Use the internal timer or get a shutter release for perfectly sharp images. I saw someone around here recently wrote a long thread about photography. Check it out. FWIW when I shoot macro my settings are usually aperture priorety, f16, iso 100 and I turn off all my pumps.
