@MnFish1 since you're getting a nem soon thought you might be interested in following along. It's not scientific by any means, but it is at least anecdotal.

Has it expelled anything? Black dots like mouse/rat poop? Are you changing water daily and adding the Cipro? I used 250 mg/5 gallons of water. Good luck!

There was a little bit of stringy grey stuff in the water. I am changing almost all of the water daily. I realized I have 800mg Sulfa and not Cipro.

The mouth doesn't look very good. Has it closed some or remained open? Are you sucking out the particles/grey stuff/black zoox when doing a water change? I know nothing about Sulfa so don't know how this is going to react. Keep up with the water changes and good luck.

It has remained open. I am sucking out anything I see with the water changes. The mouth has stayed open the entire time.

The (good?) news is that overall it doesn’t seem to be getting worse and the overall condition seems to be about the same.

My first attempt at a Haddoni was about 10 years ago and this was before the current treatment regime was adopted and produced positive results. It looked identical to that, but sadly didn't make it and turned into a rotting mess. I hope this isn't the case, but I would try to find some Cipro and treat with that immediately. Keep us updated and am hoping for the best.

Edit: wanted to add in my success in the past. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/new-gig-progress-treatment.181492/

Is it normal for it not to attach while it is in the hospital tank, or is that a sign it is getting worse?

If you're using 250mG of SMZ, up it to 400. Looking like you're going to need to source some Cipro.
