I'm thinking about giving it a try... What best thing to keep in mind when making this plunge... Light, feeding, calcium ?

and...... What are chances a Flame Angel messes with it?

IMO lights coupled with picking an appropriate species and getting a larger healthy one to start with.

I have not had that combo, but I have read some success stories, but more often then not the angel nips the clam.

Hmmmmmm.. I may have to hold off... Don't want to kill the clam

Sounds like a good idea, it would make me nervous!

Sometimes we have to make smart choices...not just buy and hope for the best....

I have a clam and a flame angel. I don't think he's noticed it. So far so good.
