Yes it’s disease or the bullying mentioned, could be acclimation stress, it isn’t ammonia or both fish wouldn’t have made it to today and through to tomorrow etc / into next week

ammonia is plainly ruled out for the reasons Dr. Reef was able to rule it out after this many running days in his seneye+bottle bac study thread as well.

can you post a new short 30 second video of them to accompany the description

I agree, I don't think its ammonia anymore either. I guess I won't know if its disease or bullying/acclimation before I eventually see something on the healthy one?

The sick one has since yesterday moved into a new position. Im not sure if it looks better or worse.
Will make a decision tonight I think, maybe its better to just end its pain.

Im sorry, I didnt understand your last sentence. What you want me to make a video of?

Thank you! :)

That was good to see for sure

just wanted to keep a few days running view for the overall system, it looks good :)

I would just trade that one fish back where it came / have them try and heal it in their qt system

I studied it some more with some better lightning.
Its definitely something white growing on its side.

Looks sicker, don't have much time left.
I could try a FW dip, but dont have a spare heater :thinking-face: Could float a bag, but it might not survive it anyways?

What could this be?

not sure how to pinpoint it. agreed, based on posts from Jay's forum there comes a point they euthanize it vs rehab/your call. no sick fish would ever be in my display they'd be evaluated in a separate tank that's for sure at the first indication

if the posts in disease forum stickies and help threads mean anything as a reference, you've got to pull all fish now and fallow the tank. the other fish go into observational qt for at min 45 days so you can complete the fallow here

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
