I recently got two clownfish for my fully cycled aquarium, and they are doing well. It’s only been the second day in the tank, but they are acting normal, very active, with no problems acclimatingthem.

However, both of them sometimes glass surf for a while, maybe minutes at a time, and then stop to explore the open tank. They go up and down the glass several times in a row for a little bit, and then swim around the tank normally after. Why is that? I don’t think it is something to be heavily concerned about, but I was just curious.

Clowns are weird. As long as they're eating and look normal I wouldn't worry
