New coral

I’m not completely sure what kind of coral this is I forget what the guy in the fish store said it was but he said it’s an easier coral To take care of and I thought it looked good so I purchased it I’ve been trying to do some research on this particular coral trying to figure out what it is I think I know but I’m not 100% sure can you please help thank you!

It’s called a goniopora and he either misled you or didn’t know, but they’re not a good beginner coral and aren’t easy. They are moderately difficult to keep. Needs medium to high light and medium flow. Needs to be fed a zooplankton food like Reefroids at least a couple times a week.

I got one too. My LFS Said its moderate but you have to feed them to keep them alive. Mines doing amazing though. Yours looks terrific
I ordered some Goniopower and I’m currently at my local grocery store getting a turkey baster…..Gonna have the healthiest goniopora
