So the other day my LFS was having a sale and I grabbed a deep blue shallow for cheap. I have always wanted a shallow tank. Hopefully I will be able to get it to look like some of the awesome tanks I saw at MACNA this weekend (btw MACNA was a blast). Anyways I have to finish my stand and then I can begin begin the plumbing process. Here are some pics so far.

The stand is a lot of over kill. I could have easily gotten away with using the thinner strut for the entire thing. Tomorrow I cut the wood and skin it. I'm going to paint all the metal with the bed liner stuff they use on trucks. Have seen a few other people doing it and it seems to work well

P.s. don't mind the camo look. Was running out of sealer. Lol

Got everything in place. The pump I am using is temporary and so is the return. Those will be replaced as soon as I am able to. Skimmer will be here soon as well.

Can't wait to see your Hydra running. I have 2 Sols over my 50 gallon but I want to upgrade to Hydras sometime next year. They're much more controllable.
