So I've had a flame angel for a week now. I got a leopard wrasse the same time but it died the next morning. The flame angel seems to be doing okay but he doesn't eat anything I feed him. It's been a week... He picks something off of the PVC pipe in the QT but that's it. Why isn't he eating the food, what should I do, and what is he eating off of the PVC pipe?

Do you have any live rock in the qt with it? Sounds like the angel does not know prepared foods are yet. The rock would provide a more robust foraging source until he/she figures that out and a place to feel more secure.

Film algae. Put some garlic powder in frozen mysis and that's a good way to get it started.

What have you tried? And lets see a pic of the pipe where its eating. And the fish

What was it eating at the LFS before you bought it? If anything, try that first.
