New friends from MACNA Washington

This is a shout out to Aquaph8 and his wife Amber, who helped us get through the banquet at MACNA, along with Florida and Los Angeles.
Sometimes, what starts out being a dreaded event (sitting at a table with strangers in a room of 3000 people) ends up being a lot of fun.
And, as promised, here is a photo of my new fish that arrived a week after the show. In quarantine, causing me lots of anxiety.

Meeting new friends is a huge component of MACNA for me. We all talk so much on the forums, but rarely meet in person. MACNA brings so many people together.

What an amazing new acquisition! How big is your coldwater set up?

I too had a lot of social anxiety at MACNA, luckily WAMAS kept me busy with volunteering =P

Newbie here... What kind of fish is that? I love it.

It's called an Ornate Boxfish. Cold water. I had a 30 gallon c.w. Tank set up, but now am in the process of making a bigger set up around 100 gallons. He's chilling in quarantine dealing with an eye issue that he showed up with. I hope it clears up soon.
