Coming back to update this! We are getting closer to setting up. Over the past couple weeks I’ve been watching local listings close, and finally found a deal on a Waterbox Marine X 60.2 that’s only about a year old. I was originally thinking of going bigger, but going to start there and possibly upgrade in the future. We are moving in a few weeks, but once we get settled in it’ll get set up and filled to start cycling!

Hey all,

Long time lurker but new member. I’m Kyle and I’m from North Texas. I’m currently learning all I can before jumping in on my first tank, looking forward to being a part of the community!

My plan is to get somewhere between a 60-100 gallon setup (total including sump) - any recommendations on must have equipment would be great!
I got a nano g2 xl from red sea, and it comes with a mini sump attached to the side, but I am pretty sure the nano xl has a sump in the bottom, but it would be a smaller tank.
