New kalk stirrer taking up allot of room

Ok guys so there is the new stirrer 4 hours old. Takes up a ton of room but so does my 10 gallon ato. I'm thinking of down sizing the ato to maybe a 5 or a custom one. I am not sure. Obviously lol. Where the stirrer is I can't easily touch anything in the sump. Any ideas or suggestions?

Can the stirrer go in the reservoir? You'll loose some volume, but shouldn't be a big deal

I thought of that but to add and clean the kalk I have to take the top off anyway. Then it would be soaking wet too.

Yeah I agree any cheap ideas that one is a 10 gallon
