This has been going on for quite a while. YouTube videos are already out showing the light in the tank but not the light itself

What's the advantage of buying this vs a cheap light on Amazon? Just that it uses the dc24 plug?

Trouble with the cheap lights on Amazon is they are mostly crap and don't last ... particularly hanging over a sump.

Pretty close IMHO but who am I to say.....lol. Don't take it wrong I love Apex have a lot of items. Most are their own design as a rule stand alone thing(Branded) but think this is a rebranding period, bit disappointing.
