I set up a new tank, and my resolution is this: NO MORE SHORTCUTS
I have done plenty of these from using tap water to the cheapest salt I could find. This year my new tank is going to be as good as I am capable of.

This year I have resolved to simplify my reef tank. I am taking off the too big skimmer, shutting down the fuge, and relying on simple water changes for nutrient control. The extra gear on my nano just make everything inconsistent and take more effort to maintain.

My aquatic resolution is to begin my phyto cultures again. I have not done them for over a year, so I will get back into them and get my tank happy with fresh phyto.

Resolution 1: Over the last 2 years, I've tinkered and change things almost every month. I need to stop changing things and let the tank run on it's own.
Resolution 2: I hope to add one of the first produced Frozen food auto feeders on the market to my tank for additional automation and healthier fish through more frequent, but controlled feedings.
