Hey everyone,
New member from NC. I've been reading from the outside looking in for a few months, and my wife and I have decided to jump into salt at the end of the year. Add this to our 5 freshwater tanks, chickens, snake, dog, cats, oh and 3 kids <6 years old, yeah we may be a bit crazy.

We've had planted freshwater for several years (9g - 75g). Initially thought we'd dip our toes in with a small AIO...well those plans are RAPIDLY shifting to 100-125 gallon tank now. SO, it'll be a good while before I start a tank build thread. Ultimate goal over the coming years is a mixed reef tank that also features fish well...sort of a complete ecosystem approach. We're used to being patient for things to grow (love all forms of gardening - flower, vegetable, indoor, planted tanks).

Anyway, looking forward to meeting more of you along the way!
Ben

Welcome to the forums!

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Welcome! Great to see you deciding on the larger size. You wont regret it.

I have an Eshopps Mariner and cant recommend that tank enough. So well built and beautiful. Just wish I went 130 instead of 100.

Welcome to Reef2Reef, Ben! We're glad to have you. I think you and your wife will love the salty life!

Oh, and fair warning... we're all enablers here.
