Hey everyone! I just joined today but started my saltwater adventure in June. My kids and I have had a freshwater tank for several years but have always wanted a saltwater tank.

So far we are running two tanks. A 10 gallon invert tank and a 37 gallon reef tank. Both with a combination of dry rock, local live rock and gulf live rock.

Our 10 gallon currently has a mithrax crab, peppermint shrimp, blue legged hermit, 2 spiny star snails and 3 Trochus snails.

Our 37 gallon currently has 2 saddleback clowns, a royal gramma, a turkey wing clam (gulf live rock hitchhiker), an emerald crab, 3 blue legged hermits, a nassarius snail, 2 margarita snails, 4 trochus snails and a small Duncan coral.

Both tanks have various sponges and macro algae from the gulf rock!

Welcome! Post some
Pictures

I’ll get some pictures up, I don’t have a proper lens for my phone yet. I have the lid with the built in white light I can throw on briefly though for pictures.

I’m currently running an “egg crate” type of lid with a neopsyche K7 Mini so it’s blue colored making pictures look funny.
