Welcome to R2R and back to reefing Scott. Nice little tank. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed. Was into the hobby about ten years ago and had to sell/give away all my livestock when I moved into a house with a conventional floor. The itch has been gnawing away ever since and I finally couldn’t take it any longer.
i have very limited space so I went with a pick tank. ill probably do a build thread with more pics so I can hear some advice on what to do better next time. Began the build about two months ago and apart from some issues with the acrylic sump it’s been very successful.
3g Aqueon 9” cube
Ai Prime 16 on flex rod
80 gph pump (designed for 3/8” plumbed to 1/2” for reduced flow, I forget the brand
Aquatop heater (forget the watts but I had to go a bit higher then I wanted for the auto temp feature)
DIY 1/2g sump made of acrylic (probably won’t do that again)
Standard filter media
I’ll gather my stats for the build thread but for now here’s a few pics.
