So, Yesterday I calibrated and installed the Mil 120 ph meter, and to my delight, it immediately started reading 8.2. My old salifert was telling me 8.0. Then, it climbed to 8.3 by mid-day. Great, right?

Well, this morning i get up early and it’s still at 8.3. Isn’t it supposed to go down a few clicks at night?

My tank is in a basement and i do leave windows open. In addition, I have a (non-circulated) c02 scrubber hooked up to me skimmer venturi. Would this keep it steady?

KH yesterday was 7.7.

KH is holding at 8.3 and ph is showing 8.3-8.4.
Ca is 425

Nitrates are 50 and phosphate is 0.0.
Skimmer is really pulling out some good sludge.

All sounds good except the phosphate. You might consider dosing it.

ok- any tips on what you would use?

Food grade sodium phosphate from Amazon. There are several forms that are fine, but not sodium tripolyphosphate.

Yes, though that adds N as well.
So it was the first time using my Hannah Phosphate yesterday, and I think I made some mistakes. Anyway, today, phosphate is 0.49 and N03 is 50. Im skimming like a maniac. I just purchased a filter sock for the drain because I think I overfeed and being very adamant about emptying the skimmate before it overflows.
