What's the tank on the left made out of ? @Mike W
I custom made that tank 2 years ago. I cut plexiglass and framed it out with wooden sheeting. The port holes are made out of tupperware lids. I call it my 40 gallon tide pool. It simulates costal tidal height from 20" high tide to 15" on low tide. I have starfish, snails and crabs inside the tank so the grandchildren can touch and feed them.

@mike.... now that's cool... very unique as well...thanks for sharing
Thank you.! I am working on a new reef tank. It will go from 2" of water depth on once side to 3' and the other with wave motion to simulate tidal waves and hold about 350 gal. Still work in progress and many modifications yet to come.

@Mike W your 40 gallon tide pool tank is really unique, I love it!

I made a water system to automatically adjust the water dephts like a toilet bowl tank works but much, much slower water intake and discharge. I have a timer that I have set for the high tide and low tides on the Atlantic Ocean. Starfish and crabs love it.!
