NEW Product: GHL Doser 3!

All of my back ordered items are shipped I believed, except one or two of the small random item. 1 x doser 3 and 2 x doser upgrade kit is in route to be delivered next Tuesday.

If I buy a doser 3 stand alone that has the new improved WiFi connection and LAN but connect it to my Profilux 4 with a PAB cable, do I no longer need a plm-wifilan card for the Profilux? does the LAN connection of the doser allow all devices connected to each other via PAB cables to access the cloud? Thanks

No, a Doser SA in EXT mode act as a EXT Doser (without network).

I just received my Doser 3 upgrade kit. I am upgrading from a 2.1. The old pump heads do not have these blue and white twisted cables that the new pump heads have on the Doser 3. The instructions do not talk about them either. Where do these go? I believe they are for the led lights in the pump.

I learned it the hard way lol. First I connected them from left to right based on the pictures orientation and found out my dosing head is illuminating out of order. Opened up the cover while the power is still on and tinker out the correct mapping.
BTW this doser 3 has higher mx speed than doser 2.2, about double I would say! It's a little bit louder but seems smoother.

If you haven't already done so, you must install the latest firmware and check the box indicating the presence of a Doser 3 upgrade kit, otherwise the speed will be too high and the heads will rotate backwards (due to the presence of the gear).

Picture was taken to highlight my very warped pla print not the doser. One of these days I will build my controller board setup for that area. That is a new Doser 3 I have not upgraded my old ones yet.

I upgraded one so far. It is not in service, but testing using the panel buttons, 2 heads will not move, they are stalled and two jerk intermittently. I pulled in the tubing a bit and it seemed to help, but it feels like these are right at the edge of their torque curve. I am not sure if anybody else has had an issue.
Otherwise they seem well built.

I am not sure if it will get better as tubing breaks in, but would assume it will. I am a but hesitant to upgrade the doser that does my 3 part or the KH director until I get this sorted out.

I suppose first, I should just try to calibrate them and see how that goes. Maybe that will be enough to "break in" the brand new tubing.

That said I am not sure how I am going to move forward yet. I

I am not using them yet. I upgraded one doser of the 4 and it stalls intermittently on the new tubing. 2 of the heads worse than the other 2. I have not had a chance to try and break the tubing in,,but was a bit surprised that they stalled at all . Maybe when I change dosing containers next I will spend some more time trying get one of them up and running.

I run mine slow so there is not much noise at all. I have not tried upgrading yet just using a new doser 3. I do have the upgrade kit ordered for my maxi and plan on doing a comparison when dosing I use those for my AWC and they make a bunch of noise. I am going to download a decibel meter for my phone so I can compare actual numbers at the same dosing rate. I think those might have shipped so maybe next weekend. I will try to do something with the 3 also I have a spare head so I could set something up. I will see how many projects are on my list that I want to put off.

Oh awesome please let us know, if they are better I’m looking at replacing my Neptune Dos AWC units that are also super loud.
