Hello, I am brand new to the hobby and the forum. I just started a 75g tank about 5 weeks ago and I think it is about cycled. I just have live rock and a couple of damsel fish to cycle the tank right now, but I have a little critter on a rock that I can't ID.

Anyone know what this little guy is? It's about the size of a dime right now.

Do I also see yellow sponges in there? What type of lights are you using. Sponges in my tank only grow in the shade.

Nope, just the one little guy right out in the open, front and center.

The lights are just two 48" white T5 and two 48" blue T5. I'm probably about to drop some coin on LEDs though.

*Welcome to Reef2Reef!* Your aquarium and stand look good.I like those sponges, the shape looks like it belongs under a microscope.I don't think it will get much larger than a nickel, often I see them in small groups.
