Hello everyone! I received a 3 pack of rock flowers yesterday, and I think one is in trouble. I met my delivery driver, immediately opened and begun temp acclimation. In the bag, 2 were good looking, but one was really sad. In the bag you could see it's mouth gaping, and it was gooey.

In the tank, 2 immediately began to move slightly and attached themselves within an hour. The sad one tried for a few hours to stay on the rocks, but gave up overnight sometime. Now is floating on top of the sand, still mouth gaping. Looks unresponsive.

I'm new to reefing, very new to rock flower anemones, these will be my first. Question is, how long should I give this sad little flower? Is there anything I should do at this point?

I have contacted the seller and they responded within 10 minutes, so that's great, but I was still hoping this little buddy will make it.

Any pics / parameters to see if we can help out? RFA are generally pretty hardy and I wouldn’t take out unless is was dissolving / mush

I'll run tests right now, I should have already, I know, but it was already looking bad on arrival.
Picture is ambient room lighting. This is this morning, it tried to attach on the rock just above it, but overnight had fallen to here.

The last pic in the bag during temp acclimation.

Definitely still alive , I agree with dolphins, just let it be / low flow and moderate light. It could still be acclimating

Looking at the picture you posted, seems that your tank isn't fully developed which is not a good thing for any type of nems. Now the good news is that the bigger ones are doing OK. I wouldn't take it out, as mentioned above, unless it starts melting. It it too tiny so it didn't handle shipping as well as the bigger ones.

Every case is different, but I have seen the sad ones get blown behind the rocks, (‘gone’ out of sight out of mind) for a couple of weeks and re-emerge healthy.

Sadly it's melted so bad I had to siphon it out. The other two look marvelous though, I'll wait a while to ensure these thrive before I order more.

Where did you get them from? Who was the seller?
