Collection cup still shouldn't have that much water in it. Mine usually takes a few days to a week before I have to empty it. Could just be the break in period still.

There’s no water in the collection cup; just a little foam.

Ahh ok... hard to tell from pics since I use a different one.
I pulled the collection cup all the way up this morning and it started skimming. Then about 4 hours later it stopped skimming, so I lowered it and the bubbles started coming up and foam coming down. Thanks for the advice. I took out about 5 quarts of water so input could be slightly above water line.

The green tea skimate will collect in the collection cup over time. Not 1 day but say 3-8days depending on tanks size and bioload.

100 gal… 1 Clarki clownfish, 1 rabbitfish, 1 yellow tang, 1 axilspot hogfish, 1 orchid dottyback, 1 coral beauty.
