So, I had a major fish disease issue I'm 97% certain came from a large order of inverts I added to my tank (mostly a big group of snails). Ended up running the tank fallow for 2 months and confirming via an AquaBiomics eDNA test that my DT is disease-free now. However, it made me reallllly gun shy about adding any more inverts with out running them through a QT first.
Thing is, I also didn't want to have to QT inverts myself. Which is why I was so excited find Inverted Reef!
Just received my first order from them and I gotta say, I'm impressed.
Communication through the process was incredible. Great customer service. Fair prices. Awesome packaging (see unboxing vid below). Critters look incredible.
I have two more orders coming from them (Several trochus, some turbos, even a QT'd trpoical abalone!) in the next few weeks as they complete their QT. Can't wait!
Yes, it's a bit pricier than non-QT'd inverts and it might mean waiting a bit for your order....but it sure beats QT'ing them myself. And I have it on good authority from a friend who visited their shop, there isn't a fish anywhere to be found so truly QT'd inverts in a fishless system!
