Hello guys,

I think my 125 tank cycled as of a few days back. I checked for amonia which is at about 0.0, Nitrate and Nitrite at 0.0, pH very very good, very good alkanized, salinity is at about 1.026, and calcium 460.

I have 40lbs of Pukani Live cured and cleaned rock, a few snails and blue/red leg crabs to do cleanings. So, since I didn't have enough live rocks (only 40lbs) at the beginning to cycle, I will have to add additional of 50lbs the same rocks, live, cured and cleaned Pukani from PremiumAquatics. These rocks are very clean and nice. So, my question is if this is going to make a huge amonia spike in the tank as well as nitrate/nitrite.... or is it going to even start a new cycle...?

It might start a new cycle. Can you take out the snails and crabs just to be safe?

I just added 50lbs of live and cured/cleaned rocks (Pukani) to my new just cycled 125 gallon tank. I have to monitor for the ammonia, nitrate and nitrite for the next few days.

I previously had 40lbs of the same rocks, so now added additional 50lbs. In total 90lbs of rock is I THINK perfect for reef and fish 125 gallon tank.

I am posting some pictures below, so any comment, critic or opinion is welcome. :)

I checked water today and didn't notice some change so far. Maybe nitrate went just a little bit up, almost not noticeable.
