Hello. I just received a box of TBS rock. I was wondering if there’s any instructions for it. Do I just dump it into the tank? Get it to temp?

I removed it from the bucket and added it directly. I looked briefly on each piece for undesirable crabs, but did not try to drive out hitchhikers.

Some folks make a bigger effort to remove things like mantis shrimp, but I did not.

See if you can get the gorilla crabs out. It took me a long time to get several of them out from the tank. And I think I still have at least 1 that I am not able to get out yet. Mantis is another one that you want to inspect for and get out.

I dumped my TBS straight into my pico tank, haha.

Howdy there,
Instructions were included in our emails and can be found on the website.
Rock on.

I was able to catch the gorilla crab. Had to take the entire rock out and it was hiding in one of the crevices. Hopefully this was the final one.
