Just bought and set up a "new to me" Apex (Gold version)

I have everything up and running... I am waiting for calibration fluid however the probes are providing a reading. Also waiting for RJ45/3.5mm cable for ramping Kessil. (It also came with a NetGear Wifi extender)

The extender has WPS feature
Our service providers router has WPS feature

I used the WPS feature to make the connection.

One thing I noticed when experimenting before setting it up in it's final position is that when I shut the power off both Apex and WiFi extender when turning it back on it would not connect to.

I had to reset/all settings and re link in order for it to work again. (Including the WPS connection)

I have it installed, changed settings, and everything is working. If for some reason Apex went off line or power went out is the settings saved internally? or just in cloud?

Will I need to reset everything and re-link the Apex after a power outage?

Thanks!

The Apex saves everything internally. There is a setting in the network setup for the ip. Make sure the setting is set to not say on one IP address
