Ok everyone. I am about to get a used apex. I know nothing about them. I have a reef keeper but now I get to make the switch. What do I need to know for setup? Is their any software or links need to know? Any good reads, anything? I know the probs will not be good. Will it be able to send me alerts? What version is this one?

If you have internet available 24/7, use https://apexfusion.com/. The old apex has wired only, so plug in a cable and your good. If you cannot run a cable, you can buy a wifi extender and use a cable from the extender to the apex. Apex was pretty self explanatory for me, but there are some youtube videos on basic and complexed setups.
