Welcome to Reef2Reef!

What do you need help with, navigating the site or help with your tank?

Here's a post on help with the forum:
https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/tips-for-getting-the-most-from-the-reef2reef-forum.580/

Click here to see a breakdown of the sub-forums, you can "follow" any that you think would be helpful or interesting to you:
https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/

Here's a sub-forum for people new to reef keeping that you might find helpful:
https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/new-to-saltwater-reef-aquariums-post-here.130/

At the top of that and most sub-forums, you'll see "stickied" threads, these are threads that have so much useful information that the site admins keep it permanently in place at the top of the sub-forum. These stickied threads would be a great place to start learning about reefing.

And I'd suggest poking around the Member's Tanks sub-forum. Here, you'll see all kinds of examples of how people setup and maintain their tanks. You can often find someone who has the same tank that you're building:

For help with your tank, I'd suggest this guide and the following video series as a good place to start:

Please post again with any specific questions!

Good luck!

Hi everyone,
I am new to reef 2 reef and I would be happy to have any tips on how to use Reef 2 Reef
Welcome!
Use the search function liberally. You'll be amazed at how many of the questions you will have have been asked before. But don't hesitate to ask anything if you have further questions or if prior answers just don't seem to fit your situation. There are a number of specialty forums here that could connect you with more specialized authorities, so look those over and keep them in the back of your head. There are hashtags to alert various groups of specialists of your question, if you need them. Be aware of those as well. You'll see them as you read different types of content. Finally, post a personal tank thread and keep it up to date
It helps those who would help you understand where you are in your journey and the state of your tank.
Best of luck, and welcome aboard!
