Hi everybody!! I'm new to R2R as well as saltwater. I've had several freshwater tanks over the years and am about to start up my reef tank. I've been obsessed with reef tanks for about 10 years now but I have been in school so I've spent all this time researching and planning hypothetical tanks. The time has finally come and my reef tank is going to be my graduation gift to myself!

I have two plans on how I want to get started. First, I really want to find a used tank on craigslists, ebay, somewhere. Finding a good deal and building it up is my preferred method. However, if I dont find a good deal, I'm really looking at the JBJ 45 gallon rimless with a kessil a360 led. A smaller tank 40-60 is preferred since my husband's job can require us to move after a few years

When I get my tank I hope to start a new thread on the tank build! Until then, any advice for a newbie?

Welcome, can't wait to see the tank come together

Thank you everybody! I have my eye on a Jebo 60gallon on craigslist for $350, with stand, t5s, sump, protein skimmer, and a few odds and ends. Does anybody have any experience with this brand? If its still available when I get back from vacation I'd love to get it.
