OMG! I'm realizing that you need to be a chemist to have an established tank.
I have a billion questions. I have a 75 gallon and a 55 gallon I'm starting little by little.

Welcome to R2R! I'll say that you don't need an advance chemistry degree to have a reef tank, only a basic knowledge of what your reef tank needs to thrive. I hate chemistry for the record ;)

It's not so bad. I would test my parameters in the beginning. Then after that I stopped for a few months (besides checking salinity). Only check if anything looks like it changed. I have a 10 gallon too. They say smaller is harder.

p.s. welcome to R2R! :)

Welcome. :-)

Just like most hobbies there are different levels of demand. You can have fairly affordable beautiful tank containing soft corals and some commonly had large polyp corals.
