new to saltwater

I just got my RO/DI system in and wanting to start making saltwater .Once ive added the water to the tank how much chemicals do i add to a 75 gallon tank. If so what chemicals do i need to add

if you are wanting to make saltwater, start with a good quality salt and add salt based in the directions to achieve your desired salinity. The link below is a goo reference for setting up a saltwater tank. It goes through the whole process including making salt.

Salt Is usually around 1/2 cup per gallon but will need to be verified by using a refractometer with calibration liquid. Also it's best to mix it per instructions before adding to the tank.

Salt is usually a complete mix.
Add until you reach 1.023 for fish only systems, 1.026 for corals and inverts.
