My name is Chad and I live in Pittsburgh and I'm an alcoholic. Wait sorry wrong group. Just kidding I started maybe a year and half ago. I currently have a 55 gallon tank but I am about to upgrade to a 125. Currently use t5ho on my tank but I'm considering Leds on my new on. But I don't really understand the watt rating. I do have a bta and my lighting is 4 watts per gallon. That seems unatainable with leds. Its something I'm not sure on but I want to take my time on this tank and set it up right. I have got alot of good info before from r2r thanks everyone.

Welcome welcome.... Congrats on the upgrade! Don't sweat the watts per gallon, kinda old thinking. Lots of great knowledge on this site. Time to get reading :)

Welcome! The whole watts per gallon with LED is pretty irrelevant because LEDs are low powered but shoot out some pretty powerful beams.
