New to this

Hello everyone! I am new to the hobby and currently researching tanks and everything to start my very first reef tank. I did go to an amazing local shop to look around and see what they have to offer and asked questions. Any advice and recommendations are greatly appreciated and needed. So many options and tings to read and watch it gets a little overwhelming and I find stuff I like then second guess and start all over lol.

What are you looking to get out of this tank? What kind of livestock are you wanting to keep? There are plenty of questions that you need to answer for yourself before purchasing and following through on a tank. The last thing you want to do is get a tank and have it not work out for what you’re wanting to keep.

My goal with it is to have a beautiful coral and fish tank. At this moment I just know I would like a couple clown fish. I did make another post and have gotten great advice about making a must have fish list first.
